Help a Good Cause on Season 23 Opening Weekend W/ #LevelWithACause

by - 3 years ago

Hello Nephalem! Normally we talk about the best way to hack demons, the best way to gear to maximize your efficiency. However, I wanted to mention a very noble effort the D3 community, our community with the start of Season 23 quickly approaching.

A group of D3 streamers has come together underneath the name #LevelWithACause. These streamers will be streaming the opening Season 23 weekend in an effort to help the “Save the Children Fund” Charity.

The Save the Children Fund, commonly known as Save the Children, is an international non-governmental organization that promotes children’s rights, provides relief and helps support children in developing countries.

We wanted to help spread the message because all children should have a safe place to just be themselves. Help support the cause (see information below):

We will be running our charity event from April 2nd to the 4th! As the newest season launches in Diablo 3 we will once again be uniting to raise money for:

What is Level With a Cause?

LWAC has raised over $81,000 for charities to date

Level With a Cause is a recurring charity event that usually occurs at the start of a new season in Diablo 3.  Level With a Cause was originally conceived of by Wolfcryer as a way to unite the Diablo community in an effort to raise money for various charities.

The first Level With a Cause was held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 with the release of season 11 and continued through the weekend.  Twitch streamers and YouTubers from the Diablo community played throughout the weekend and directed viewers to donate to St.Jude’s Hospital.  In that first Level With a Cause the Diablo community raised over seven thousand dollars and cemented that this would be a recurring event.

As Level With a Cause continues to grow and we as a community try to generate more and more funds for charity we are now hoping that anyone interested in participating do so; not just those from within the Diablo community or those who stream or make online content.  Everyone is encouraged to join us as we try to do something awesome.

We at #LWAC would like to express our deepest gratitude to Blizzard Entertainment for their generosity during these events, as well as, the streamers involved, and the chosen charities for all of their hard work!!

In the U.S. and around the world, Save The Children gives children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. When crisis strikes, they are always among the first to respond and the last to leave. They do whatever it takes to save children, transforming their lives and the future we share.
