Mercy’s Wings Now Available For PC Diablo 3 Players

As we have observed in recent times, each of Blizzard’s game releases come with cross-game cosmetics and rewards that entice players to add to their collection of titles. Overwatch, Blizzard’s first-person shooter set to drop this summer, is no exception. Diablo players have been particularly hyped over the gorgeous Mercy Wings that were showcased as being one of the cross-game incentives at BlizzCon 2015 and while console players have been enjoying these wings for free for several months now, the wait for PC players is finally over.
Those that have pre-ordered a digital copy of Overwatch: Origins Edition through the Battle.net Shop will notice the wings have been delivered to their Diablo account through the mail system. However, those of you that purchased a physical copy through the likes of Amazon, Gamestop, or other outlets will unfortunately have to wait to receive your code inside the actual box. The angelic wings of Overwatch’s peerless healer and brilliant scientist, Mercy, are now available to PC Diablo III players who have pre-purchased the digital Windows PC version of Overwatch: Origins Edition! This iconic feature of the Valkyrie swift-response suit is bound to make any nephalem feel as though they are under the direct care of Angela Ziegler herself.
How to Claim
If you pre-purchased the PC version of Overwatch: Origins Edition through the Battle.net Shop, you will now be able to retrieve Mercy’s Wings by logging into Diablo III, entering a game, and checking your in-game mail. The mail icon will be located in the lower left-hand portion of the UI.
As with all other collector’s edition cosmetic items, open the mail, click the “Claim” button, and right-click the “Mercy’s Gaze” item in your inventory to add the new wings to your collection. Visit Miriam the Mystic in any town hub and use the Wardrobe to equip the wings on your current character.
For players who plan to purchase Overwatch: Origins Edition on other platforms, you’ll be able to pick up your copy of the game starting May 24. If you purchase a physical copy of Overwatch: Origins Edition, you will need to claim the printed code included with your game in order to redeem your wings.
