PTR Patch 2.2.0 Hotfixes for March 11, 2015

Yesterday, several hotfixes were applied to the Patch Test Realm to curb some issues regarding specific skills that were still benefiting from snapshot mechanics. We’ve seen several passes of hotfixes in the past that wiped out similar scenarios, so it’s likely that this will be a continued theme until snapshotting is no longer a thing. Continue below to see which skills and classes were targeted. There was also a bug fix to stop the Corrupted Ashbringer from being so good that it just crashed your game.

The below hotfixes are now live:

Barbarian

• Battle Rage
  • Rune – Bloodshed
    • No longer double dips on powers that activate upon dealing damage (3/11)

Demon Hunter

• Marked for Death
  • Rune – Grim Reaper
    • No longer double dips on powers that activate upon dealing damage (3/11)
    • Note: An additional bug has been discovered that is causing Grim Reaper to deal only 10% instead of 20% damage. This issue is currently under investigation.

Items

• Corrupted Ashbringer
  • Fixed an issue where, after numerous transformations, Corrupted Ashbringer could terminate your game (3/11)
