Treasure Goblin Farming Route

Hello everyone! In light of the new Treasure Vault Dungeon and the Treasure Goblin Community Buff, I thought it would be fun to put together a post going over a short and sweet Goblin farming route. This route contains three areas that are relatively small and easy to run through, so let’s get into it! But keep in mind that the Treasure Vault isn’t a 100% spawn and only has a chance to spawn from slain Treasure Goblins.
Act I – Halls of Agony Level 2
Halls of Agony Level 2 contains a guaranteed Treasure Goblin spawn somewhere in the level. But Halls of Agony 2 isn’t a very big tile set so it’s very easy to quickly run through and hunt down your pair of Goblins. Be sure to check every single room and corner because these little guys have no limit to where they can spawn.
Act II – The Core of Arreat
This is a great place to look for TG’s since it’s very small and very linear. The only random thing about this level is the mobs that spawn in it, so it’s extremely easy to speed through this level and you literally can’t miss the TG’s because you will run right into them. I am not sure if it’s a guaranteed spawn, but I have not had a run yet tonight that hasn’t had a pair of goblins in the core.
Act I – Festering Woods
This is an area that you could probably choose not to do since a lot of us are tired of being there (damn crypt runs..). But I added it because I have had relatively good luck with TG’s there and it’s a pretty small tile set that is basically a giant circle so it’s very easy to run through at a decent speed. The main downside to this area is that it doesn’t contain a guaranteed TG spawn and you know..it’s a very visually unappealing place.
There you have it! I have been doing these runs today with some friends and we had some really good results getting the Treasure Vault portal to spawn. Some community members were saying that they were getting a portal every thirty minutes to an hour depending on how fast and efficiently you do these runs. So go out there and strip Greed of all her riches!
UPDATE: It appears Blizzard has hotfixed Halls of Agony Level 2 to no longer have a guaranteed goblin spawn. But it still appears to have a good spawn rate and is still worth going through on your hunt.
This article is already wrong. After farming Halls of Agony level 2 for 20+ times on torment V. I’ve found treasure goblins less than half the time. Both on adventure and campaign mode, so “guaranteed” seems a bit of a lie.
Thats because the Bug that caused a goblin to ALWAYS be there was fixed. its in the hotfixes. please research before calling someone wrong.
But he was wrong. He said in his article that it was “guaranteed’ it was not. I corrected HIS mistake. This was before he did the update at the end that corrected it.

He wasn’t wrong. At the time when he first wrote the article he was right. Just because he didn’t update his article at the exact moment that Blizzard made a hotfix, does not make him “Wrong”, and nor did he Lie. You corrected no one, although you made yourself look like a fool. Try not to be a douche.
THey was 100% spawn til the server restart they hot fixed this and made it liek 40% spawn

Last time i checked The core of arreat was in act III but..!
I’ve done a lot of runs through The Core of Arreat and the goblin pair wasn’t there for more than half of my runs.. I guess you’re just lucky or I’m unlucky, Fast runs though!
