New Crusader Set in the Works

by - 10 years ago

When Reaper of Souls hit, many people were Puzzled that the Crusader class only had one Armor Set. It was quickly explained that the Invoker Set was originally meant to be a Crusader Set, but was then released to all classes. On patch 2.1 the Crusaders are finally going to get their second set, check out its bonuses below.

  • Crusader
    • New Crusader Armor Set (Name still TBD)
      • (2) Set Bonus
        • +500 Strength
      • (4) Set Bonus
        • +100% Shield Bash Damage
        • +100% Sweep Attack Damage
      • (6) Set Bonus
        • Hitting an enemy with Shield Bash or Sweep Attack grants 20% Attack Speed for 3 seconds, stacking up to 5 times

Shield Bash and Sweep Attack are getting some serious love here, this new set is bound to create some build diversity for the Crusader. Hopefully on patch 2.1 we see some new T6-viable builds. Has anyone gotten this set on the PTR yet? Let us now on the comments below or hit us up on twitter @Blizzpro

You can see the full patch notes here.

  1. Option: Dezzo says:

I tried out the set on Live and although it created some interesting concepts to explore, it also highlighted one of the Crusader’s biggest problems.

Wrath generation / expenditure / cost

It first I though I could combo it with the new Phalanx pet build with the set but I realized later that Phalanx pet build with Akkhan set is so much easier to manage.
