Torment Only Legendaries

Nevalistis dropped by the forums today to give some clarification on what you can obtain from Kadala with Blood Shards and what items only drop in the Torment difficulties. A lot of the Torment only legendaries were already well known, except for maybe a few of them. Check out the blue post below.
Ah, no she cannot! Good catch. If an item is cache-only, that’s the only place it can be obtained from (such as Ring of Royal Grandeur). Kadala’s decided that while she has no plan to stop pointing out your occasional paper weight purchases, she will pay more attention to the kinds of things her buyers would at least know how to use. In our next patch, Kadala will only give you items that you are able to equip, with a focus on class specific weapon type.
This will not change how she generates Legendary items, as those have always been class targeted. This is only a change to the rare items Kadala produces. My own documentation indicates that Vyr’s should be Torment Only and Tal Rasha’s shouldn’t be obtainable from Kadala. If this isn’t true, it’s likely a bug to be passed on. I’ll send that over to the appropriate folks to investigate.
That said, below are Legendary and Set items that CANNOT be obtained via Kadala. Legendary and Set items not listed below should be included on her drop table.

Now one of the things that caught me and some other people by surprise is the fact that Lut Socks and Shard of Hate are meant to be Torment only and not obtainable from Kadala. One of the reasons being that you can actually obtain a pair of Lut Socks from Kadala but it appears to be a bug according to Nevalists’ Twitter. Source.

From what it looks like, you can still gamble the Lut Socks so take advantage of it while you can. As for the Shard of Hate, I didn’t feel like this was a Torment only legendary simply because there wasn’t any clarification until now. I also thought that since it was a community made legendary, that it would drop in all difficulties so that as many players as possible could obtain it. I dumped at least 5,000 Blood Shards trying to gamble for it!
