A friend of mine was watching the Sony E3 press conference and during a small segment he saw something in the middle of the screen that caught his eye and he asked me if I saw it, too. I did not, but I went back to look, and sure enough – in the middle of the screen is the original Diablo game art.

So what does this mean? Most likely nothing – but you never know. You’ll probably remember that Diablo was released on the original Playstation, so is it possible we might see Diablo be released at some point as a digital download on the Playstation Network? With Diablo 3 coming to the console it’s a pretty real possibility. Heck, maybe we’ll even see a revamped version? Maybe new controls and online support?

Either way, chalk this up as some speculation. What do you all think? Would you like to be able to download a copy of the original Diablo game on your PS3 or PS4?
