We already talked yesterday about the PlayStation exclusive items coming to Diablo 3, but today Blizzard has announced some new preorder bonuses as well. In addition to the Infernal Helm which gives you an experience bonus on your characters you can now get Angelic Wings, Bottled Cloud Dye, and Bottled Smoke Dye. These items are basically the same thing that anyone ordering the Collector’s Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition for the PC would have received – purely cosmetic in nature items and both will be available in the Playstation 3 and Xbox360 versions.

The exclusive items have also been revealed for the Playstation 3. The Hero’s Journey, Drake’s Amulet,  Crimson Angelic Wings are all cosmetic in nature. However, Leroic’s Gauntlet will summon a skeleton to help you fight and Leah’s Ring is a level 60 item that will buff your magic find, gold find, movement speed, and defenses. These items will all be available when you preorder the Playstation 3 version.

Both will be released on September 3, 2013.

As of right now, if you have both systems, it sounds like the PS3 version is the better deal and this might be what Sony was referring to as a partnership when Diablo was first announced on the system.

We also reached out to Community Manager Lylirra regarding if we would see a Collector’s Edition for the console version – and it appears the answer is that we will not:

• “Angelic Wings” – Taunt the forces of the Burning Hells by sprouting a cosmetic pair of glowing angel wings
• “Bottled Cloud Dye” – Dye your armor sets a cloudy white with this heavenly dye
• “Bottled Smoke Dye” – Dye your armor sets an eerie smoky black with this sinister dye

Exclusive PS3™ In-Game Items:

Players who purchase Diablo® III on the PS3™ will also receive five additional PS3-exclusive in-game items:

• “The Hero’s Journey” – A Legendary shoulder item that includes a “Journey” style scarf
• “Drake’s Amulet” – A Legendary amulet that bears a striking resemblance to the ring that Drake wears around his neck in Uncharted
• “Leoric’s Gauntlets” – These Legendary gloves summon a ghostly skeleton to fight for you
• “Crimson Angelic Wings” – This cosmetic enhancement calls forth a set of red Angelic Wings
• “Leah’s Ring” – A Legendary ring, originally given to Leah by Deckard Cain, that’s usable at level 60 and provides bonuses to Magic Find, Gold Find, movement speed, and defenses

Please note that console preorder bonuses and PS3-exclusive in-game items cannot be transferred across platforms, and players will need a connection (to Xbox LIVE® or PlayStation® Network, respectively) in order to receive these items.
